Jahmil eady bio

Jahmil Eady is an award-winning screenwriter, director, and producer. She earned her BA in Media Studies from Pomona College and studied film at the Prague Film School in Czech Republic. She was an associate producer on projects for Oprah Winfrey Network, Viceland, and Discovery Networks. She wrote and directed the sci-fi film, Heartland (2021) and the social impact film, The Bond (2022). The Bond raised over 26,000 on Kickstarter in 2 weeks and was supported by Film Independent's Artist Development Program. Jahmil's work has screened worldwide, including at dozens of BAFTA and Academy Award Qualifying film festivals. She is the Princess Grace Foundation's Inaugural Sir Roger Moore Honoree for filmmaking. Jahmil was also named UCLA's Inaugural Class Artist, representing over 14,000 Bruins in the class of 2023.
