Alan Sheffield Ball (born March 29, 1985) is an American former professional footballcornerback in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Chicago Bears. He was selected by the Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL draft. He played college football at the University of Illinois. He was a contestant on the 35th season of Survivor (Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers), where he placed 15th.
Early life
Ball attended Saint Martin de Porres High School in Detroit, Michigan.[1] As a senior, he helped his team win the 2001 state championship in football, by making 15 interceptions 6 in the postseason). He received All-region honors.
Also a standout track & field athlete, he received All-State honors after winning back-to-back 110-meter hurdles state titles as a junior and senior.[2]
