Early Life and Education

Jumber Lezhava, a Georgian traveler and sportsman, was born on July 23, 1939, in Tbilisi. He spent most of his life in the city of Rustavi, where he graduated from the Tbilisi Polytechnic Institute in 1966, majoring in electrical engineering.

Overcoming and Achieving

In 1987, after undergoing a major surgery, Lezhava developed a personal exercise regime that helped him regain his health. Inspired by his recovery, he established several world records for push-ups and entered the Guinness Book of Records between 1990 and 1992, later improving them until 2001.
