Galina Vale, is a performer in a genre that does not attract much attention. She has clearly mastered what I call the "Gorgeous George" effect. This method was successfully employed by Muhammad Ali and also in varying degrees by many other performers. The purpose is to "stand out" from the pack (no offense intended to pack or herd animals). The purpose is to get people talking about them (just as we are), to garner interest.
