    Sofia Vocational High School of Electronics �John Atanasoff� (SPGE) is a public vocational high school. Over 5, technicians have graduated since , with a degree in Electronic Technics, and specializations in either Electronic Computing Machinery or Industrial Electronics. The core of vocational preparation now includes the professions �Programmer�, � Technician of Computer Systems � and �Technician of Electronic Technics�, created by the PHARE program within the range of the project �Elaboration of vocational training and education�, developed and brought up-to-date in compliance with the new National Educational Requirements /DOI/ in Following seventh or eighth grade students receive their professional and specialty training (choosing out of five specialties) in a total of 39 classes.
