Keith Nosbusch stepping down as Rockwell president, CEO

Keith Nosbusch, president and CEO of Rockwell Automation, said Tuesday he is stepping down from those roles but will continue as board chairman.

Milwaukee-based Rockwell designs and builds the controls for assembly lines that produce everything from car parts to semiconductors to food.

Rockwell said its board of directors has elected Blake D. Moret, a 30-year veteran of the company, as president and chief executive officer, effective July 1. At that time Nosbusch, 65, will retire from those roles while continuing as board chairman.

Nosbusch has been president and CEO of Rockwell since 2004. He added the title of chairman in 2005, after Don H. Davis Jr. retired following more than 40 years with Rockwell and the former Allen-Bradley Co.

Nosbusch earned an electrical engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a master's in business from UW-Milwaukee, and he began his career with Allen-Bradley Co. in 1974 Keith nosbusch salary.
